The name had an all pervading effect and was thought of with an idea of novelty but to be always be remembered with due reverence.

This was indeed an applaudable decision of the then Mr. Keshavrao Bhosale, who named the company.

In the history of Marathi theatre, Lalitkaladarsha has reached a milestone by successfully completing its 99 years, an achievement that is prerogative of a privileged few.

Today the company is set to celebrate its ‘centenary year’ with all its enthusiasm and a strong support from Shri. Bhalchandra Vyankatesh Pendharkar who has devoted his entire life for keeping the name of the company alive in the hearts of people even today.
